Welcome to kanddroofingnc.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the roofing, siding, window, solar, and related services ("Services") provided by K&D Roofing ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or requesting our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.

Description of Services

K&D Roofing provides residential and commercial roofing, siding, window, gutter, and solar installation services in the Raleigh–Durham–Triangle area of North Carolina. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Roof replacement and repair (shingles, TPO, metal, wood shake)
  • FORTIFIED Roof™ upgrades
  • Siding installation and replacement
  • Window installation
  • Gutter installation
  • Solar panel installation (through our partner Emerald Energy)
  • Storm damage restoration and insurance claim assistance

Estimates & Quotes

All estimates and quotes provided by K&D Roofing are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary based on unforeseen conditions discovered during the project, changes in material costs, or scope modifications requested by the customer. Any changes will be communicated and agreed upon before additional work begins.

Scheduling

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, permit processing, or other factors beyond our control. We will make every reasonable effort to complete projects within the agreed timeframe and will communicate any delays promptly.

Payment Terms

  • Retail Projects: A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion.
  • Insurance Projects: The ACV (Actual Cash Value) check plus deductible is due before work begins. The depreciation/supplement balance is due within 30 days of project completion.
  • We accept checks, credit cards, and financing through approved lenders.
  • Past-due balances may be subject to collection activities and applicable interest.

Warranty

As a GAF Master Elite® contractor, K&D Roofing offers industry-leading warranties on qualifying installations, including GAF's Golden Pledge® and Silver Pledge™ limited warranties. Warranty terms and coverage vary by product and installation type. Specific warranty details will be provided with your project agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of nature, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, K&D Roofing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to our Services or your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site, or interfere with any other party's use. All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of K&D Roofing and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Wake County, North Carolina.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
