How long does a residential roof replacement take?
Most homes are completed in 1–3 days, depending on size, pitch, and complexity. A typical 2,500 sq ft home with a standard shingle roof takes 1–2 days. We'll give you an exact timeline during your estimate.
Can I stay in my home during the roof replacement?
Absolutely. You don't need to leave. It's loud (especially when we're tearing off the old roof), but you can stay inside, work from home, or leave if you prefer. We'll let you know the noisiest parts of the day.
What if it rains during installation?
We monitor weather closely and won't start a tear-off if heavy rain is forecasted. If unexpected rain hits mid-job, we have tarps and can make your roof watertight within 30 minutes.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. We pull all required permits in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake County, and surrounding areas. Permit fees are included in your estimate.
What warranties do you offer?
Manufacturer warranty: GAF covers materials for 25–50 years. Workmanship warranty: K&D covers our labor for 10 years. FORTIFIED warranty: Additional coverage through IBHS. All warranties are transferable if you sell your home.
