Weather and roof issues
Clayton is in western Johnston County along the Neuse, west of the fall line the National Weather Service places near Smithfield. Severe thunderstorms can bring hail and damaging winds. The air stays humid after the rain. Tropical systems moving inland drop heavy rain on this side of the Neuse basin. The town is not oceanfront, so the roof issue is rain and wind, not salt spray.

What a repair visit covers
K&D Roofing looks at Riverwood and Flowers Plantation for boot and vent failures on younger shingles. Downtown Clayton and the older streets need chimney and sidewall metal. When the deck is sound, the repair fixes the opening and leaves the rest.
Call K&D Roofing at (919) 977-4074 for a Clayton roof repair inspection. The visit starts at the stain, not at a price for a new roof.
